Last winter I was making illustrations for a children book called "Fiddler in the Darkness". It was pretty laborious (over detailed 30 illustrations) so I'd be really glad if you'd like to see some of them or read my descriptions about them on my blog [link] .

The book will be published this summer (and I can't wait for that!). The author of the book - David Gutterman started a funding campaign on kickstarter.com. So if someone besides me would be interested in purchaising the copy of the book, it can be preordered now here -> [link]

I graduated from Warsaw Faculty of Architecture but instead of making career in an architectural office I've chosen life in a deep, dark, dangerous forest, where I can focus on drawing and freelance graphic design.
As I'm a daydreamer I love to retreat into the world of my imagination. My favourite theme is medieval and fantasy architecture.

Just some questions for you. :)

1. How long does it take you to draw a picture?
2. How long does it take to paint?
3. What music do you listen to when you are doing art?
4. How long have you been an artist?

Thanks for asking :)

1. Drawing takes me several hours (2-5)
2. Painting some of my works took me only about 2 hours (almost monochromatic works in a "sketchy" style) but recently I pay more attention to details, colors, lights and shadows so such paintings take me 5-15 hours (+ making a sketch and searching for inspiration)
3. I used to listen melodic metal while painting but for several months I've been listening to swedish lessons mostly, so I can learn and paint at the same time :)
4. I started to take drawing seriously before entrance exam for Faculty of Architecture - it was 10 years ago. I was selling some works occasionally since then. But I started to work as an artist after graduation.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It is interesting to learn a little bit about the person behind the art. :)

Learning Swedish whilst painting is making excellent use of time. :)

I would love to donate some points to you, but you don't have a donation pool. :D
